08/15/12 • I’m happy to announce that the first official screenings for Alan Smithee will take place on Thursday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 25th between the hours of 6-8pm at the Dolby 88 screening room @ 1350 Avenue of the Americas, Ground Floor (cross is W 55th st).
The theatre holds 88 people so seating will be based on RSVP’s – first come, first served. We’re aiming to do at least 3 screenings within that time period, both Thursday and Saturday – roughly starting at 6:15, 7:00 and 7:45. If you plan on attending either day, please email crobin@alansmitheemovie.com as soon as possible with your preferred time slot. You’re welcome to invite friends and family as well. Just let me know how many people you plan on bringing. Once time slots fill up I will notify everyone to confirm their reservation. There will be additional screenings down the line so if you can’t make it this time you’ll have other chances in the near future.
There is a bar directly across the street, Whiskey Trader, if you need to kill some time before or after the screenings.
I got a haircut so some of you might not recognize me. I’ll be the one in the corner throwing up with no pants on. We hope to see you there.
